Quentin William Johnson, having reached the ripe old age of 75, is now semi-retired. He has been the driving force behind Quican Inc for thirty years. While he no longer travels for work, he is happy to provide his expertise on staple food fortification on an individual need basis.

Thanks to his tireless work with colleagues all over Africa and Asia, the populations of 96 countries now have access to fortified staple foods. That is nearly 500 million people, reducing maternal and infant mortality rates, iron deficiency anemia, zinc deficiency, spina bifida, stunting, and certain learning disabilities. That is an extraordinary achievement of lifetime work.

As an acknowledgement of his lifetime work, Quentin was awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Guelph in 2011. Please vist our contact page
