has over 32 years of experience in new product development, quality
assurance and regulatory affairs in food and medical device
industries in North America and the United Kingdom. He has
developed many new cereal based products such as novel flours,
flour milling systems, baked goods (breads, cookies, pasta,
cakes), baking ingredients, snack foods and modified atmosphere
packaging in North America. In the field of quality assurance he
has written many Quality Manuals to meet ISO, HACCP and GMP
requirements both in food and medical device industries.
Prior to starting
his own business, he was the Director of Technology for Maple
Leaf Mills, and during this time he brought 107 different products from the
development stage to the marketplace. He continues to develop
new products in his test bakery, including his own line of
artisan breads Quentessentials.
