Quentin has
developed curricula and provided the facilitation at numerous
international workshops in the following areas:
- the
development of quality control sysems for flour mills and
bakeries
- the
development of Good Manufacturing Practices (pre-requisite
for HACCP)
- development of
HACCP plans
- training of
trainer programs
- training
programs in overseas countries where a particular
sensitivity to cultural norms is required
As a consultant
with the Guelph Food Technology Centre, he has provided
technical and troubleshooting training to bakers and millers,
and allied trades to the baking and milling industries. He has
also developed university courses such as the Cereals Science
course (BSc level) at the University of Guelph. |
Quentin also
serves as a resource speaker for the Canadian International
Grains Institute, Baking Association of Canada, Canada Grains
Council and the Association of Operative Millers, and has given
talks to many groups such as World Vision, local churches, local
service clubs such as Rotary, and Women in the Food Industry
Group.
